Privacy policy

This is a translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.

1. Controller

The controller of personal data is MONETIO SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ, ul. Jagiellońska 5/1, 40-032 Katowice, Poland, KRS 0001085439, NIP (tax ID) 954-286-64-85 (“Monetio”). 2. What data and why

• Phone and email contact — name, phone number, email address and the content of your message, so that we can answer your question or tell you about the launch of the service at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep them until the matter is resolved and then for no longer than 12 months.
• Server logs — IP address, date and time, page address, browser type. Used for security and troubleshooting (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and deleted after 30 days at the latest.

3. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies for tracking, advertising or statistics and does not use third-party analytics tools. Your currency choice (PLN/EUR) is stored only in your browser's local storage and is never sent to us. Fonts are served from our own server. Crypto prices are fetched by our server (from CoinGecko, Binance and the National Bank of Poland) — your browser does not connect to those services directly.

4. Recipients

Data may be processed on our behalf by IT service providers: hosting (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany), network and security (Cloudflare, Inc.) and email (Google Cloud Poland / Google Ireland Ltd). We do not sell data and do not share it for other companies' marketing.

5. Partner service

Once crypto purchases are launched, transactions will be concluded directly with a crypto-asset service provider, which is a separate controller of the data entered in its window (including identity-verification and payment data) and processes it under its own privacy policy. Monetio does not receive that data.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland). Providing data is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply to your message.

7. Transfers outside the EEA and profiling

We do not profile and do not make automated decisions. Where a service provider processes data outside the EEA, this is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
